The Denver Nuggets have waived two-way player Julian Reese from his two-way contract. Denver had acquired Reese from the Washington Wizards as part of the deal that sent Peyton Watson to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Reese is expected to draw interest from other teams for another two-way deal. The 6-foot-9 big man saw action in 13 games for the Wizards last season. Reese averaged 11.8 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 30.9 minutes per game.
