Talks between the Knicks and Karl-Anthony Towns over an extension have been ongoing this offseason after Towns played a huge role in helping New York capture its first championship in 53 years.

According to SNY NBA Insider Ian Begley, there’s been plenty of dialogue between both sides and those conversations have been positive, with the Knicks making it known that they think highly of KAT and want him to stay in New York for a long time.

As far as numbers go, Begley reports that the Knicks have discussed deals ranging between $45-$55 million a year. Meanwhile, Begley also notes that Josh Hart and Miles McBride are also eligible for extensions.
