Kansas Hires Sam Strantz From Rockets As New Director Of Strategy

Kansas is set to hire Sam Strantz as the school’s new Executive Director of Front Office Strategy and Operations, reported Pete Thamel of ESPN.

Strantz was hired from the Rockets’ front office.

The role is set to build out a front office model with a focus on adding value to revenue generating programs.

Bill Self is set to return as coach for the 2026-27 season amid health concerns.
